A Home from Home

" My husband was in Fruithill Nursing Home for eighteen months with final stage Parkinson's.
I found the staff to be incredibly caring. They related to my husband on a personal level, joking and chatting with him.
The care he received was excellent. He could do nothing for himself, and the staff were very patient and gentle with him.
They even rearranged his room so it looked more like a hotel room that one in a nursing home.
The most important aspect of the home, aside from the basic cleaning, feeding and caring in general, was that the staff developed a personal relationship with him, making him feel special and loved."

" Fruithill, for the past 5 years, has been home to my father. He was treated with love, respect and dignity during this time, which was a great consolation to myself and family. The entire staff were excellent and showed him, and us, great respect at all times. The home was always welcoming and catered for all his needs. Cleanliness in the home was paramount and food was all home cooked and of excellent quality and variety.  "

The professional treatment from the admin, nursing, care workers, kitchen, cleaning and all staff. Mum was treated with dignity, respect, and love. Food better than 5star, nursing better than a hospital. I cared full time for my mum for 10 years and the relief of leaving her in safe hands is beyond words. I fully trusted the staff and was always made welcome and made to feel like part of the family."
